Emily Paulic

 

Emily has been dancing, teaching and choreographing for studios within Durham region for several years, and has competitive experience in all genres of dance. Emily is a certified Jazz and Tap instructor with the ADAPT teacher training program and is set to complete her certification with the Acro Dance Teachers Association. Emily has a Bachelor of Design in Fashion, which has helped her to combine dance with costume design in her own business, Emilina. Emily continues to remain current and further her training with advanced classes, workshops, and professional programs in Toronto. She was a dancer and choreographer with the Ryerson Dance Pak, and was a part of Kalos Collectives, a pre-professional training and performance company. As a choreographer, Emily has been recognized for her work in Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical and Hip Hop at the competitive level. She values technique and artistry, with an emphasis on guiding dancers out of their comfort zones. Emily looks forward to teaching and inspiring the dancers at Uxbridge Dance Academy, and sharing her passion for this art form.
