Twinkle Tots

Ballet bun or two little ponies if hair is too short to pull back into the ponytail needed to start the Ballet bun. Clips and a hairband will help keep hair out of your child’s face.
Here is a helpful video tutorial.
Hairnets are a must to keep the bun secure. We have hairnets for sale in the lobby (50 cents each; just leave payment inside the canister) or you can buy them in any drugstore/Walmart etc.
Picture Day: Makeup is not necessary for Picture Day. Your child should look as they normally do. A little powder on the forehead will control shine.
Recital: Makeup is a fun part of the theatrical world and being ‘stage-ready’ and we encourage our dance families to enjoy the experience. Stage lighting washes out facial features and without a little extra colour, performers look featureless.
- Powder on forehead to combat shine
- Blush on cheeks (pink)
- Lipstick (pink)
- Eye Makeup: mascara is problematic for most children, so unless you know your child can handle it, please do not apply it. A little soft brown or grey eyeliner and shadow can help to define eyes. PLEASE, NO BLUE!!!
